Huawei nova 8i announced with 64MP quad camera and 66W charging

Huawei has already officially announced its new smartphone known as the Huawei Nova 8i. This is in the Nova 8 series new phone. We know that Huawei’s nova 8 series so far included four smartphones – nova 8 5G, nova 8 Pro 4G, nova 8 Pro 5G, and nova 8 SE. But that number changes to five as the company added a new member to the lineup – nova 8i. This new offering by Huawei is announced in the Malaysian market.

Huawei Nova 8i’s Price and specifications

The Nova 8i is priced at around MYR 1,299 (Rs. 23,338) in Malaysia. But Bangladesh market Nova 8i will be priced at around 30,000 takas. The device is available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.

It sports a 6.67″ FullHD+ LCD touted as an “Edgeless Display” by Huawei, which is surrounded by 1.3mm bezels on the left and right sides, and a 1.35mm bezel on top. And that has FHD+ 1080 x 2376 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the Huawei nova 8i has a Snapdragon 662 SoC with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the software front, the phone boots Android 10-based EMUI 11 skin out of the box.

The Huawei Nova 8i comes equipped with a quad-camera setup. The setup consists of 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor units. On the front side, the handset sports a 16MP camera which has an f/2.0 aperture. The nova 8i features a side-mounted fingerprint reader

The phone packs a 4300mAh battery which supports 66W fast charging. which is advertised to go from flat to 60% in 17 minutes and fully charge in 38 minutes with the bundled 66W charger. the device offers dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
