ZTE A20 5G to be called ZTE Axon 20 5G

The ZTE makes telecom gear as well as smartphones with unique features that make it stand apart from the crowd. Last week, model number ZTE A2121 phone appeared on numerous certification pages, suggesting the Chinese manufacturer is bringing a successor to the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, codenamed A2020. It will be the first phone with an under-display camera that said that the CEO of ZTE and today the official page on Weibo revealed it will be called ZTE Axon 20 5G. It will be launched on September 1, which is in two weeks.

ZTE A20 5G details

The phone is called A20 5G and it sports a 6.92-inch full HD+ OLED display with 1080×2360 pixels resolution. It comes powered by octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor with 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM options with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB onboard storage. It also features Adreno 650 GPU and runs on the Android 10 operating system. You get a quad rear camera setup with the A20 5G. This comprises of 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone packs a 32MP selfie camera built under the display, where you also have the fingerprint sensor. ZTE A20 5G packs a 4,120mAh battery with fast charging support via USB Type C.

The Axon 20 5G is not going to be the first mobile with under-display camera in the world, but will be the first commercially available smartphone – after all, we’ve already tested a demo unit, manufactured by Oppo.
