Realme 8 5G starting for its first sale in India on April 28. The smartphone comes in Supersonic Blue and Supersonic Black colors. The 5G handset from Realme comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. It has a 90Hz display, a triple rear camera setup, and a hole-punch display. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

It has two memory options – 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB priced at INR14,999 ($200/€165) and INR16,999 ($230/€190), respectively.
The smartphone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme 8 5G runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. For photography, the 8 5G comes with a total of four cameras onboard – a 16MP selfie shooter inside the punch hole, with the 48MP primary camera on the rear joined by the not-so-useful 2MP macro and 2MP depth units.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Realme has provided a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
